We went to the zoo while down in the valley and it was so hot!! Brodey's little head was so sweaty from his trusty cowboy hat! Jax spent about 20 minutes talking to one little goat....no hitting or chasing them . Nellie was the "teacher" for the day and told us about all the animals. Out of all the animals, the birds were the favorite. Fun times!

Well, I've been a bad blogger!
I can't believe my Nells just turned 5 ! We kind of ruined her birthday by being in the valley for all of Aaron's testing, but we had a lot of fun. We stayed with Aunt Annie, went to the zoo, to the IMAX a couple of times, to the park, and to the mall. We were supposed to be home on her birthday, so when we found out we had to stay in the valley, she was upset. All her presents were at home and her party had to be cancelled =( But Aunt Annie's made Nells her favorite breakfast ( waffles, strawberries, whipped cream, and sausage ! ) and took Brodey to get her a present. Thanks so much guys! Anyways, when we got home, we went to Grandma's for cupcakes and presents, and then we went home to wrap her presents really fast! It was a crazy week, but we all had fun!

One wish for the Valentine's fairy...

Is to get a new camera. My house is TOTALLY under construction and I want to take some pictures ( I know, just buy a disposable one). Aaron did so much work on the house during his 2 week vacation. He got up early everyday and worked so hard! It was a challenge with lots of kids running around, but he did it ! I know I should just buy a disposable camera...but I refuse!! =) New floors everywhere, office almost done, more walls down, tile just sitting there ready to be put in, laundry room getting ready to be torn down and rebuilt ( but much bigger! ), and my kitchen....let's just not talk about it! Thats going to have to wait a little longer. It's so nice to finally see the light at the end of this long construction tunnel!

So, today Jax poured a whole box of Cocoa puffs all over the carpet. He also tore up two rolls of toilet paper all over the bathroom floor. Then he poured a whole bowl of rice ( with sauce ) on his head!
The lessons I learned from today are:
1.) Don't leave a box of cereal on the counter....he grew two inches over night!
2.) My vaccum stinks...it just pushed all the cereal around..then I got to pick it all up by
hand....a whole box of cereal!
3.) Jax is very good at tearing up paper....in tiny pieces...and he has a great attention span....I
would have quit after the first roll.
4.) Jax is not ready for spoons...or bowls....or eating when I'm out of sight.
5.) Jax is a ladies man and likes to make three little girls sitting at the table laugh!
6.) Rice sticks to everything and I need a camera...NOW !
